A Soft Landing
Healing begins with gentleness.
You don’t have to push, perform, or hold everything together here.
My work meets you with warmth, clarity, and a pace that honours your nervous system.
Whether you’re navigating complex trauma, chronic shame, emotional neglect, or long‑standing relational patterns, psychotherapy at True Care offers a steady, compassionate space to come home to yourself.
How I Work with Individuals
It’s gentle, shame‑sensitive, and grounded in the belief that every survival pattern was once an intelligent adaptation.
My approach integrates trauma science, nervous‑system work, and Buddhist‑inspired compassion through colloboating and working together through a theraputic relationship.Together, we may explore:
the emotions that never had room to land
the parts of you that learned to protect and perform
the nervous‑system states that shape your daily life
the relational patterns that formed long before you had language for them
the self you’ve been working so hard to reconnect with
This is not about fixing you. It’s about understanding you — with clarity, compassion, and steadiness.
What We Work On
Individual psychotherapy supports people navigating the following and more:
Complex trauma and PTSD
Attachment wounds and relational patterns
Chronic shame and self‑criticism
Emotional overwhelm and shutdown
People‑pleasing, overfunctioning, and self‑abandonment
Anxiety rooted in early experiences
Identity confusion or fragmentation
Long‑standing patterns that feel hard to change
If you’ve carried more than your system was designed to hold, you’re not alone — and you’re in the right place.
The True Care Individual Healing Model
A four‑phase journey held with compassion and clarity.
Phase 1 — Safety & Regulation
We begin by helping your body remember what safety feels like.
Gentle somatic work, softening protectors, grounding practices, and building the capacity your system needs to settle.
This is the foundation for everything that follows.
Phase 2 — Identity, Shame & Survival Patterns
We explore how your system learned to protect you.
survival styles, attachment adaptations, relational patterns, and the identity structures shaped by early experiences.
This phase brings clarity, compassion, and agency back into your hands.
Phase 3 — Memory Work (Only When Needed)
We touch the past only when the present is strong enough to hold it.
EMDR becomes a precision tool, IFS supports exiles, and everything stays anchored in the now.
No forcing, no retraumatizing — just gentle, paced integration.
Phase 4 — Integration & Embodiment
We practice living from the self you’ve reclaimed.
Boundaries, connection, pleasure, aliveness, and the felt sense of being grounded in your own life.
This is where healing becomes lived, not just understood.
